Smart travel · for the curious
Travel smarter.
Experience more.
Tripknot helps travelers generate smart itineraries, discover hidden gems, explore weekend escapes, and connect with like-minded travelers — all in one elegant app.
I worked as the Lead Frontend Developer across the entire product — from the mobile app to the website landing page to the internal admin panel.

The landing page
The front door.
A fast, server-rendered marketing site that carries the same voice as the app — big type, generous whitespace, and a single clear action on every screen.

Smart itinerary generation
Your trip.
Planned intelligently.
Tell us where you're going, how long, and what you love. Tripknot composes a personalized day-by-day itinerary that respects your budget, your pace, and the best time to visit each spot.
- Editable day-by-day plans you can drag, reorder and swap
- Recommendations tuned to your budget and travel pace
- Best-time hints and a live map preview built in

Explore packages
Discover curated escapes.
From weekend getaways to slow mountain retreats — explore handpicked trips designed around mood, pace, and time of year.

Strangers trip
Don't travel alone.
Join trips with travelers heading to the same destination. Share journeys, split costs, and create real experiences with like-minded people who get it.
Weekend escapes surface short, nearby trips based on distance and duration — so an empty Saturday turns into a three-day getaway in two taps.
Theming
One product, two moods.
Every screen was built on colour tokens rather than hard-coded values, so light and dark modes stay in sync as the product grows — contrast checked on both.

Admin panel
The engine room.
Behind the app sits a dashboard the team lives in — business claims, photo verifications, place moderation, campaigns, support tickets and revenue, all in one dense but calm interface.

My role
What I owned.
Mobile app
Owned the full app UI — navigation, itinerary builder, discovery feed, maps integration and the light/dark theming system.
Marketing website
Built the Tripknot landing page in Next.js with server rendering, image optimisation and SEO-ready metadata for organic reach.
Admin panel
Designed and developed the internal dashboard used to verify businesses, review claims, moderate places and track revenue.
Design system
Set the type scale, spacing rhythm, colour tokens and reusable components so every surface reads as one product.
Have a product that needs this kind of care?
I build apps, landing pages and internal tools that feel like one product — designed, built and shipped end to end.
